In order to improve the supply capacity of its products, the communication chip supplier IDT (integrated device technology) announced the acquisition of ICs (integrated circuit system), a silicon timing device manufacturer. ICs shares can be exchanged for 1.3 shares and $7.25 of IDT shares. Based on the closing price of ICs on June 15, ICS shares are worth $23.54, and IDT will complete the M & A with about $1.7 billion. Through the acquisition, IDT will further expand the market of chip production.
